Prof. Milko Kolarov held a working meeting with Ilina Mihaylova, a solist at the Varna State Opera, and Galina Stanisheva, conductor of the Children’s Choir „Dobri Hristov“.
The meeting focused on rehearsing Prof. Kolarov’s monumental work, „Cantata-Poem for the Quintessentially Bulgarian Time – 1876,“ dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the April Uprising.
The premiere performance will take place in just a few days during the official opening of the 100th anniversary edition of the „Varna Summer“ International Music Festival.
The Children’s Choir „Dobri Hristov“ will make a special appearance at the festival’s opening at the personal invitation of the iconic Varna-based composer.
